This is the second full concert film the band has released. "Devotional" was also the first effort the band had ever released to be recognized with a Grammy nomination for best longform video. At this point, Anton Corbijn was completely in the fold as the band's artistic and visual guru. Not only did he design the two-level stage with multiple film projections, but he also hung around to film the whole thing go down. Alan's hard work on reprogramming dozens of songs paid off as the setlist features classics being remixed as well as performed live. The focus on this particular tour was more on the performance more than anything. Martin played guitar for almost half the set as Alan would spend an equal amount of time behind a large drum set. Gospel backup singers Hildia Campbell and Samantha Smith, who contributed in the SoFaD recording sessions, were brought on board for the show, adding their rich harmonies throughout the set. But this video is perhaps remembered more for the tour de force that the transformed Dave provided. The damage from his heroin addiction hadn't quite affected his voice like it did with the second leg, but the physical and behavioral effects were showing.

Teasing with an intro that suggests "I Feel You" would open things, the band make a subtle entrance with "Higher Love". Standout moments contained within are the grand performance of "I Feel You" with the trademark silouhettes that predate the old iPod commercials by a good decade, "In Your Room" which features a Dave stagedive, and the finale of the Devotionally reworked "Fly on the Windscreen" and "Everything Counts". The film was reissued as a double DVD set in 2004. The set featured the full length concert (previously available on laserdisc only in the US) as well as bonus footage of "Halo" and "Policy of Truth". The tour projections of the band's second leg were also featured, along with the entire set of music videos filmed for the SoFaD campaign.
