Everything Counts I confess…I thought this was a Tears for Fears song. I just thought Roland was trying to sound robotic. BONG 3 is the band's first commercial release in the US. Don't ask me how it did on the charts cause I thought it was Tears for Fears. Actually, I just don't know. I do know it hit #6 in the UK, which doesn't suck.

L12 BONG 3 is part 2 in a 3 part limited edition live 12" single set. The true highlight of this release is the live version of "Nothing to Fear." It's an example of how DM takes their studio recordings to the next level when they play them live.

Clive Richardson returns to make the video that features excellent scenes of Berlin around six years before the wall came down. The footage would be revived in the packaging for The Best Of. Sadly, it also features some of the poorest choreography ever held on celluloid by the band. Where's Paula Abdul where you need them? After all, she taught ZZ Top how to dance (Velcro Fly).
